Learn to play the ukulele!
      The Macomb Ukulele Festival will host the popular Ukulele University 101 on Saturday June 8 at the Macomb Ukulele Festival. The workshop is an introductory instructional workshop for beginners and is designed for people who have no experience with the ukulele. The two hour course, taught by Mike McGowan, will introduce and explore the basics: tuning, chords, strumming techniques, phrasing and songs. 
     Ukulele Macomb has become a popular musical group in the area with many of its members learning to play the ukulele in this workshop. The all ages group has created a community that supports and encourages people to play music together. Advanced registration is required.
